Hang a coat, towel or dressing gown on the back of a door without drilling it. The Over Door Hook is a slim saddle that drops over the top edge of a door and sits there under its own weight — no screws, no adhesive, no marks on the paint. It is cut to one door thickness per size, so pick the size that matches your door and the saddle sits flush instead of rocking. The 45° upturned prong projects 20 mm from the door face and forms a 20 mm deep cradle, so loops and hoods stay on it rather than sliding off. Only 15 mm wide, so the door still closes. Please measure your door thickness before you order. This hook does not flex to fit — the saddle opening is a fixed size, so a hook bought for a 44 mm door will rock on a 35 mm door, and a 35 mm hook will not go over a 44 mm door at all. Measure the edge of the door itself (not the frame or the architrave) with a ruler or tape, and order the size that matches. Most UK internal doors are 35 mm; 40 mm is common on heavier doors; fire doors are usually 44 mm or 45 mm (FD30) and 54 mm (FD60) — check yours, as both 44 mm and 45 mm FD30 doors are sold in the UK and the difference matters here. If your door measures between two sizes, order the larger of the two.

Takes coat loops, hood cords, hanger hooks, towel tabs, tote and gym-bag straps, dog leads and lanyards. It will not fit a door with a moulded, rounded or rebated top edge, a door with a draught strip or seal along the top, or a thickness other than the five sizes listed — and it needs roughly 3 mm of clearance above the door to clear the frame. Coats, dressing gowns and towels are NOT included; they are shown for scale.
